Who We Are

The Club Playbook exists to help youth sports clubs unlock their full potential. Founded by Kevin Primerano, a leader with more than 30 years in the youth sports industry, our work is rooted in a player-first philosophy and a commitment to sustainable growth.

Kevin spent over 16 years as Executive Director of the Rogue Valley Timbers, scaling the organization from a small, local club into one of Oregon’s largest youth soccer nonprofits. Under his leadership, the club grew from around 1,200 to more than 2,000 players, increased revenue fivefold, and built long-term partnerships that supported both player development and financial stability. Along the way, Kevin launched major community events, professionalized operations, and implemented systems that balanced excellence on the field with sustainability off of it.

How We Work

Every club is unique, which is why we tailor solutions to fit your size, stage, and goals. At the core, Kevin leads all strategy and client relationships. When a project calls for specialized expertise — whether that’s systems optimization, event operations, or parent education — we draw on a trusted network of professionals who share our values and standards. This approach ensures you get both personal attention and the right expertise at the right time.

Why It Matters

Too often, clubs are left trying to “figure it out” with limited support, leading to burnout and missed opportunities. The Club Playbook was built to change that. We provide clarity, accountability, and frameworks that empower leaders, support coaches, and strengthen families — all while keeping kids at the center.

With proven experience in scaling organizations, diversifying revenue streams, and aligning people and processes, we help clubs not just survive — but thrive for the long term.

Our mission is simple: Build. Transform. Scale.

Our Philosophy

Youth sports should serve the whole person and the whole community. Clubs are at their best when they nurture growth, build connection, and create lasting impact. Every decision — from player pathways to community partnerships — should reflect that responsibility.

What We Believe

  • People First. Players, parents, coaches, and staff each have a role — and when they’re aligned, the whole club is stronger.

  • Healthy Development. Success isn’t measured in trophies. It’s measured in kids who love the game, stay active, and carry the lessons forward for life.

  • Sustainability Matters. Clubs can’t rely on volunteers running themselves ragged. Systems, diversified revenue, and clear processes create stability that lasts.

  • Alignment Over Chaos. When governance, operations, and culture are clear, confusion disappears and energy goes back where it belongs — the kids.

Approach Rooted In Clarity and Consistency

We partner with clubs to:

  • Define philosophies that unite the entire organization.

  • Build repeatable systems that reduce stress and create stability.

  • Support coaches, parents, and leaders in fulfilling their distinct roles.

  • Create pathways that keep kids and families engaged for the long term.

The Outcome

When clubs lead with clarity and purpose, they transform from transactional programs into transformational communities. That’s what drives us — helping organizations Build. Transform. Scale.
